The Red Album

This album was the property of Margaret Bushfield McFarland Doble. It was passed along to her eldest daughter, and then to her youngest, Delphine Margaret Ferrier Doyle (my grandmother). Some of the photos were identified by either Margaret, her husband Abner, or her daughter Lizzie, with pencil notes in the margins. Others were identifed by Delphine (and often written by me). I do have some more details on some of the people in the photos, as well as info about the photographer for some. The album has fifty pages, each with four places for photos. Some are not full. A few had no photos at all, and are not shown here.
