Week 7
August 30, 2004 – The forms are finished. We poured concrete on Tuesday. The bolts with the nuts are epoxy tie-downs for the walls. They test the epoxy strength with a pull-test. The new foundation under the hall/living room wall required cutting the existing joists, which will then be bound back in. You can see the bases for the two Hardy panels that we’re using, one for the dining room and one for the garage. The framing lumber arrived, as did the plumber.
