Week 36
March 21, 2005 – Well, we have a rain delay… our painter is behind and won’t be here for probably a week. And the rest of the work can’t be done until he’s finished. We’re left with the completion of some small jobs. I’ve been working on paint colors. Dunn-Edwards has a great feature on their website, which lets you create multi-color schemes. You can see what the different colors look like when put together, order chips if you don’t have a store conveniently located (ours is about a mile away from the house), etc. The kitchen counters arrived and were installed, as was the fireplace surround. The railing for the staircase arrived. The spindles still have to be placed. This is one of the two areas where we went over budget — but the granite was NOT!
