Week 46
May 30, 2005 – We’re in the part of the finishing process where it seems as if nothing is done. Greg continues to do the finish work (windows out, doors propped open, etc). The exterior painters came and finished the trim. We debated about using the trim color on the front porch pillars, but opted to stay with the body color. Tony returned to start the electrical work at the end of the week. It’s hard to get excited about plugs, switches and can lights! The fruit trees have done surprisingly well. The first of the plums are just starting to change color. The apple tree had a dozen fruit started, which were nipped (it needs a stronger trunk). And the fig tree seems to have grown a foot!
